Quartz - Smokey

Quite a large smokey quartz crystal from a  discovery of a quartz and feldspar pocket on the Isle of Arran some 10 years ago. The transparency in the crystal shows it to contain numerous inclusions and  the  form of the back faces suggests it has broken off from the wall rock but then continued to grow.
