PYROMORPHITE

Old Saddleback Mine, Mungrisdale, Cumbria, England

Reference: 317

A location discovered in the 1990's produced some fine pyromorphite and cerussite specimens. This specimen, from the vein outcrop at Saddleback Old Mine, has a vuggy quartz matrix with areas of small but well formed and attractively coloured pyromorphite crystals.
