Some of the best Vanadinites and Descloizite specimens in England have come from Whitwell quarry in Derbyshire. This specimen has both barrel shaped and dendritic forms of vanadinite crystals formed over bright red to orange euhedral descloizite. Collected in 1987, Ex. P. Briscoe collection.
