Hilton mine is well known for its wonderful yellow fluorite specimens but in the past it has also produced some fine calcites, barytes and occasionally interesting secondary minerals. This specimen is one of the rarely seen calcites from Hilton consisting of platey interlocking crystals up to 15mm across.
