Calton Hill quarry, Blackwell in the Peak, Derbyshire, England
2871
Collected in the 1970's this is one of the best Calton Hill calcite specimens i've had. At one end of the speciemn sits a large calcite crystal of complex habit associated with smaller inculded scalenohedral crystals one of which has part formed around an earlier rhombohedral crystal. Ex. D. Walker-Barker specimen.
