Dene quarry is one of Derbyshires classic locations for lead minerals. This specimen from the quarry was collected back in 1973, and shows a dominant large octahedral galena crystal perched on a fluorite matrix with smaller crystals around its base all liberally coated with cerussite crystals. Ex. David Walker-Barker collection.
