Blue Anchor bay, Watchet, Somerset, England

Its unusual to find strontianite in south-west England but a find a few years ago between Blue Anchor Bay and Watchet. produced some interesting specimens. this piece, a single mass of the strontium carbonate, has large areas edged with micro crystalline strontianite.
