Great Sleddale MIne, Swaledale, North Yorkshire, England

Although azurite is not common in the North of England Great Sleddale has produced some of the best specimens and this is one of the richest pieces i've seen. The azurite covers an area of 35x30mm with small crystals and botroydial masses along with fluorite and malachite. Fine specimen.
