Cornish Tin ingot

Geevor mine, Pendeen, Penzance, Cornwall, England

1964

Commemerative tin ingot weighing 81 gms made from tin concentrates produced at the Geevor mine in March 1986. 2100 of these were originally made, this ingot being hand stamped with the number '1304' and has the original certificate with it. The ingot commemorated the closure of the mine in October 1985 after 75 years continuos operation. Ex. Ray Richardson collection
