Berg Aukas, Grootfontein District, Namibia

Berg Aukas mine is perhaps most famous for descloizite but it did produce some wonderful smithsonite specimens. This small cabinet specimen shows lemon-yellow crystals both aggregated and as single crystals the latter being usually sharp and well-formed for smithsonite
