Rich specimen displaying two generations of boracite, the earlier one of aggregated turquoise crystals, transparent on crystal edges, in part overgrown by a later paler generation of smaller opaque crystals. All the crystals have a tetragonal appearance although boracite is orthorhombic. The colour of boracite deepens when viewed in incandescent lighting compared to daylight
