Philipsburgite

Potts Gill mine, Caldbeck Fells, Cumbria, England

Philipsburgite is quite a rare mineral in the Caldbeck Fells occasionally  found in the past at Potts Gill mine. This specimen from there was collected in the 1960s and shows quite a rich area of philipsbergite on a quartz rich matrix. Ex. Richard Braithwaite collection.
