Axinite-Fe

The Kharan area is known for fine brookites but in recent years a few excellent Axinite specimens have also been appearing. This is a large gemmy double terminated crystal from there with sharp crystal faces and good transparency. Colour wise it graduates from a brown central area to clear crystal tips.
