Fine display specimen of the relatively rare mineral, Barytocalcite. The matrix, composed of a massive barytocalcite/ limestone mix, hosts a large cavity of crystalline barytocalcite formed across both front and back of the specimen. The crystals, up to 8mm long, show surface alteration to barite. The typed label indicates it was probably a Scoble specimen. Ex. Ben Creighton collection.
