Carrock Mine, Caldbeck Fells, Cumbria, England


Joséite, a rare bismuth tellurium sulphide was a rare find in quartz veins at Carrock mine when it was last worked for tungsten ores in the early 1980's. Two areas in quartz on this specimen show bright metallic joséite in micaceous form along with other sulphides.
