Pyromorphite - 882

Old Gang Mines, Swaledale, North Yorkshire, England


Pyromorphite from the Pennines is quite rare,although there are isolated occurances and this is from one in Swaledale.  The pyromorphite richly coats the barite matrix with stubby well formed crystals of a good size for the location.
