Pyromorphite - 881

Old Gang Mines, Swaledale, North Yorkshire, England


Pyromorphite from the Pennines is quite rare,although tere are isolated occurances and this is from one in Swaledale.  This specimen consists of a bed of stubby green pyromorphite crystals on a cream barite matrix.
