Legrandite

Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico

Ojuela mine is famous for the rare mineral legrandite, most specimens coming from a find in the 1970s as this one did. It has gemmy, blocky crystals on both sides, transparent too, with some having included smithsonite which also occurs with the legrandite. Classic specimen, ex Bloch collection.
