Seata Mine, Asygarth, Wensleydale, North Yorkshire, England
708
Seata mine in Wensleydale is known for highly coloured fluorite specimens. However it did also produce some interesting calcite plates too - this one has a bed of stubby off-white crystals on a limestone matrix. A little contact damage to a couple of crystals but most are perfect. Fluoresces pink. Sawn base.
