Zircon - 460

Mount Malosa, Zomba District, Malawi


A particularly fine example of the Mount Malosa zircons that have come onto the market in recent years, the specimen having a rich group of aggregated and single light brown crystals some orientated in parallel to each other and all having a glassy vitreous luster. Largest crystal is 15mm across. there is also a little associated aegirine, quartz, feldspar and limonite.
