HARMOTOME

Transparent to white gemmy harmotome crystals forming a rich and complete cover to the display face of the specimen.  Interspersed within the harmotome are a small number of platey calcite crystals fluorescent in SW UV.  As Strontian mine has now been closed for nearly 30 years specimens of this quality are difficult to come by now.
