Fine example of galena and pyrrhotite from this classic locality. The galena crystals show complex twinned form with some skeletal growth caused by fine growth spirals, giving a 'molten' look. Additionally and contrasting nicely with the galena is a large, bright striated pyrrhotite crystal 30mm across partially coated on the back with a carbonate group mineral.
