Stibnite

The UK has few locations for stibnite, it is quite a rare sulphide with us and rarely forms good crystals. Knipe mine has some of our richer specimens with bright crystalline stibnite but usually encased in the quartz matrix.  This classic specimen from the mine shows randomly orientated crystals of high lustre with, along one edge, some secondary alteration.
