Elbaite on quartz

Translucent' floater' quartz crystal liberally peppered with lustrous intense blue elbaite (tourmaline) crystals both on and in the quartz. The back of the quartz crystal suggests it has broken off at some time and then re-healed. Ex. Bloch collection, purchased 1969.
