Heulandite

Sgurr nam Boc, Minginish, Isle of Skye, Scotland

Collected in 2008, its colour and crystal size make this a fine Isle of Skye Heulandite specimen. Its form is slighlty curved with a thin matrix - a section of the cavity wall. The crystals, up to 15mm in size, are larger than normally found and have that classic pearly lustre.
